Toddler Program
2 to 3 year-olds
Always on the move, your toddler is thirsting to become one of the “big kids”. Our program supplements an established curriculum with opportunities to explore individual interests and build social and emotional awareness.
A Running Start
Toddlers are eager to learn, with feet and minds ready to assert their independence. We create meaningful learning experiences that fuel curiosity, teach toddlers to think for themselves, and give space to choose the activities they enjoy most.
Imaginations at Work
Toddlers thrive when they get the chance to test out their own ideas. Experimentation, problem-solving, and pretend play are essential to our daily classroom activities.
Movement is Key
Running, jumping, skipping, and climbing all promote your toddler’s physical, social, and cognitive development. We introduce games, dance, and other activities designed specifically for toddlers.
Embrace Emotion
A supportive and kind environment is important as little ones learn to understand and manage big feelings. We introduce tools to express emotion in a healthy and positive way.
We are proud to utilize Action Star Learning Curriculum throughout all our infant center and preschool locations. Rooted in our 55 years of dedicated observation and cultivation of young minds, Action Star Learning curriculum was developed exclusively for Action Day by renowned curriculum and educational leaders.
In our pursuit of excellence, we’ve not only embraced the California standards as a foundational benchmark but have ventured beyond. The Action Star Learning Curriculum integrates these standards with a wealth of additional content, all the while staying true to our experiential learning philosophy and overarching mission to empower children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills in a fun, loving, and innovation friendly environment. To ensure a seamless experience for all, a consistent semi-structured daily schedule is implemented across all our campuses.
One of the cornerstones of this curriculum lies in its thematic approach. Every month, our students will embark on a voyage of exploration and discovery. These themes, thoughtfully selected to mirror various facets of your child’s everyday life, cover a wide array of subjects such as transportation, animals and habitats, bubbles, nature, and more. Through engaging, hands-on activities, we will delve into these themes, nurturing growth not only in math, literacy, and science but also in social development, and large and fine motor skills.
