A Day in the Life of a Middle Schooler at Action Day Schools

At Action Day Schools, middle school isn’t just about academics—it’s about growth, exploration, and discovering what makes each student shine. From a highly respected curriculum to electives that prepare students for a tech-driven future, every moment here is designed to inspire and prepare young minds.

Here’s a peek into what makes our Action Day Middle School program so special.

Academics That Go Beyond the Basics

Small class sizes? Check. Hands-on learning? Absolutely. Cross-curricular projects? Of course!

Our academic program does more than teach—it connects. Imagine a lesson where history meets science, or a math project with real-world applications. This approach doesn’t just deepen understanding; it builds critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

With our 1:1 Chromebook program, students get instant feedback, timely assessments, and interactive content that keeps them engaged. It’s learning built for the modern age, and it’s no wonder our graduates have gone on to top high schools like Bellarmine College Prep, Archbishop Mitty, and Saint Francis.

Electives That Spark Interests

Middle school is the perfect time to explore passions, and our diverse elective program ensures every student finds something to inspire them. From creative arts to practical skills and academic enhancement, electives are designed to ignite curiosity and foster growth.

Our electives go beyond fun—they’re a vital part of helping students develop essential skills, uncover new talents, and build confidence.

Leadership in Action

Every student has the potential to lead, and our Student Council program helps bring that potential to life. Whether it’s planning events, coordinating fundraisers, or creating activities for the whole school, our student leaders make a real impact.

It’s not just about responsibility—it’s about confidence. These experiences help students develop independence and skills they’ll carry with them far beyond middle school.
